Presenter : Mr. Hori
Dear Kyoto NHK members,
This is Shigeo HORI, living in Kashiba City.
I'd like to announce you the details of practice on April 23.
Title: Reckless Oldsters
According to White Paper on Crime in 2010, old people's crimes are increasing rapidly. And we see some old people claiming and asserting and shouting
at a library, coffee shops, hospital and so on. A male write, Tomomi Fujiwara named this type of oldsters as "Boso Roujin." Until recently, people believed that
old people were modest, calm, and non assertive at the public places. They are believed to be protected by social welfare system. But recently we witness some
reckless old timers at the public spaces. Fujiwara commented the reason behind these is accelerating social and technological change (cell phone, Internet, etc.),
and old people are hard to catch up with this trend compared to youngsters.
On 23rd, I'd like you to discuss this social matter and find the good way to lead your later life in this electric media society.
ps. Please Do NOT discuss the matters in this ESS.
