Title: How to translate Japanese to English
We divide our members into 5 or 6 groups.
When we translate a difficult Japanese sentence to English one,
we sometimes recognize the cultural difference between the West and Japan.
Anyhow I prepare 9 sentences.
e.g., 優柔不断な男 ⇒ 決断力のない男 （やさしい日本語に置き換える）
⇒ a man who cannot make a decision by himself.
あなたのその帽子は暖かいですか？ ⇒ その帽子はあなたを暖めますか？
⇒ Does your cap keep you warm ? （主語が私ではなく帽子）
