Dear Kyoto ESS actors and actresses,
I would like you to take on the challenge of a English Drama for the upcoming practice on August 27.
Genre: English Drama
Practice Points: Put your feeling, emotion and passion into words and phrases with facial expression and body actions.
Attached with this e-mail is a script of “The Battle Between the Monkey and the Crab” that we are going to perform.
However the script is composed with 9 acts, we will play only the first 4 acts because of a time limitation of the practice.
In those 4 acts, there are 5 roles, Narrator, Monkey, Mother Crab, Kid Crab A and Kid Crab B. So I want to make several
groups to be consisted with 5 members basically for each. If the group is happened to be made with more than 5 members,
6th or 7th member can switch a role with other member during the play.
Most of the time will be consumed for having a rehearsal, but I would like to pick up one group at random and
ask them to play for us at the end of the practice.
