This is a notice of the practice on Feb 18.

2. Genre; Discussion and role playing.
3. Title; Welcome to an restaurant abroad!
4. Backgroud;
When you go on an overseers trip, you probably enjoy fine food and drink in local restaurants.
In this practice, your will be restaurant's guests or restaurant's servers abroad.
Please read ENGLISH MENU and order or recommend your favorite & delicious dishes and drinks.
5. Process.
1) Preparation for roleplaying.
Sorted groups will be provided a menu that I will prepare.
Then please choose and write each of your favorite foods and drinks on a paper.
Then, each of you will talk your favorite to the group members
( Please tell "WHY?").
After the talking, discuss how to order or recommend group's dishes & drinks' set.
And, each group chooses the representative who will participate in the next roleplaying.
2) Roleplaying
Two groups will be one pair of roleplaying. One group will play restaurant's guest's group. Another one will play restaurant's server.
The guest's representative will order your group's dishes & drinks to an restaurant's server choosen from anther one. The server will also recommend dishes & drink based on his group's discussion .
During the order, the guest has to ask "What is Restaurant Recommendation of dishes & drink".
Through the communication between the representative and the server, you can change initial order set
,in accordance with the server's recommendation.
Note1;
I will hand out two kinds of menus. Both are real famous overseas restaurant's ones, chinese and steak house restaurant.
Note2;
Please keep in mind that typical dishes in abroad restaurants are very large size for Japanese.
So, sometimes it would be better to share one plate. And, In order to fully enjoy wines, you have to order
by bottle, not glass based order.
